It has been a challenging few months, as a nation and community. From COVID-19 responses, to isolation, depression and fear, all of our lives and routines have been uprooted.
With the addition of ongoing racial injustice, deepened wealth disparity, and increased climate change, it seems like everything is just piling on…
I am regularly thinking about the kids at St. Jude and how they continue to fight cancer with all this added chaos. I can imagine the changes in their schedule from an already disruptive one has been confusing and unsettling.
Cancer doesn’t stop during the COVID-19 pandemic.
They are keeping up the fight, along with the additional burdens created by this pandemic. They are a bright light that beams hope and strength in every direction. We have to move forward and keep up the fight just like the kids at St. Jude, and like them we will come out stronger on the other side.
